Default Timing a Baja Atv 90cc engine

I had to take apart the engine to replace the trans shafts and sprockets ( still waiting for the parts - 4weeks now) and need to know how to time the engine. ie: timing marks or if it is that simple? Had baja motorsports send me a service manual but it does not cover the timing. could you help or direct me to a place where it is explained--Thanks

They haven't answered you yet I see. Unfotuanetly I don't have ananaswer either but I feel your pain on the parts order.
I ordered parts on June 2nd that I still have not received. They told me for 5 weks the parts are in receiving then finally an agent said no those parts are still on order.

If you are in Phoenix area, i know people that have had success going to their facility and complaing.

I had to order more parts since the part they sent me was incomplete.

So I orderd parts last Tuesday and was shocked when the agent told me all of the parts were in stock. Two days later I received parts. I thought WOW maybe they are getting better.

But then I realized they sent me a wrong part again and shorted me another.

I just called and supposedly they have the right part to replace the wrong part and will ship it to me, free. However the part that was not in my last shipment, they said was in stock, NOT. They have it on order.

Also July 3rd I ordered a starter for a 90 and was told for three weeks it was in receiving. Today I find out the part was never in receiving and is now due next week!
