It sounds like the rpms are too high when the clutch is trying to engage the 4th and 5th gear. If your issue has not been resolved please contact me at service@bajamotorsports.net, so we can trouble shoot this or set you up with service center location to fix your Baja vehicle.

I just bought my grandson a 6.5 hp Trax Go Kart for Christmas. It seemed to be running hot as there was a lot of smoke. After a little bit of driving (less than 30 minutes) the outer plastic casing behind the back wheel on the driver side melted against what I think is the exhaust. Is this normal? Can I get another casing and replace it myself? do we really even need it?

We bought one of the upgraded transmissions for a WD250. We received the detailed installation/dismantling email to help with the changeout. The bearing that goes over the main shaft in the old transmission will not fit on the new shaft. The new shaft is much bigger around. There was not a new bearing supplied and we cannot find a replacement that will fit. Can someone tell me what we need or if we are doing something wrong?????????

Thanks for your help!

I am pretty sure the Wilderness ATV 250 is a clone or very close to the Yamaha bear tracker 250. The specs are identical as well as the mechanicals. I went to yhr yamaha's website and look through the manual for the 2002 bear tracker. The pictures show that it is mechanically the same ATV. So I wonder if the parts will be compatible?

ALSO I NEED PARTS FOR THE TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH FOR THE 2005 250cc WILDERNESS. WHERE WOULD BE THE BEST PLACE TO ORDER THEM AND HAVE THEM SHIPPED ABROAD. I OWN 18 OF THE ATV WHICH WE USE THEM HERE IN THE RAIN FOREST. SO I NEED A GOOD INEXPENSIVE SOURCE

I recently bought a Trax 6.5 go Kart right before Christmas. It has not run for even one hour. The clutch cover burnt up and then the clutch burnt up. At first the guy who answered the phone said I should get a new go kart. Then the next guy said he would replace the part. I put the new clutch on and it immediately started smoking and burnt up. The go kart has not even been driven for one hour! I want a new go kart or my money back, but the rude girl at Baja motorsports said she would send me a new clutch. Why do I want another clutch that is going to burn up? She said that is the problem with the go kart and the new clutch will fix it. Duh!!! We already tried that. Can you help?

The best place to find stock part is from us 888.863.2252 or service@bajamotorsports.net. the wd250 Red is being discontinued so some parts have been replaced with alternate designs so we can still offer parts.
