Re: ????????
Within your area, you can visit many motocycle, quad and other "motocross type" specialty stores. Some sell skide plates out of their store, others have them as "special order" parts and others should be able to refer you to someone else.
The materails for a skid plate range from plastic (great for sand riding) to thin metal. Due to our hard trail and bush conditions, I felt plastic and thin metal would NOT meet our needs. re: one stump or log would turn plastic & thin metal into tissue paper. Hence, I had my local welder guy create one for me using 1/8" thick aluminum.
If you know any fabrication / welder people in your area, they should be able to make you one as well - if you can't find what you need. For us, plastic & thin steel plates sell between $80 - $100. My local welder guy created my skid plate for $40.00 Getting one built yourself could be a dramatic cost savings too.
Hope this helps...
