Default is this the place?

Is this the correct forum to ask questions about a 2000 Honda four trax 300? I recently picked one up for the price of putting a new Battery and changing the oil and seat cover on my neighbors 2000 rancher 350.(had to change a couple of vacuum lines too) not a bad deal.
On the 300 There is what I believe to be a starter solenoid next to the dead battery. with a battery charger on it, I can get it to start, but some times, the starter clicks a lot and wont turn over the motor. Is this because there is too little amperage coming from the charger? or is this solenoid going bad?
I will also be replacing the brush bar and the plastic "bumpers" on the front of the 300. it seems to have found a tree at some point. but for now, my son will be happy with it, and will hopefully stay off of my Rancher.
Thanks in advance,
JD

It seems to have just been not enough amps from the charger. I bought a new Battery for the 350, and after charging it, I tried it in the 300 first. It started with the first crank!.Total price for a slightly used 300? about $85.00. The look on my sons face when he found out we had a project 4X4 for him? PRICELESS!
We pulled off the brush bar, and with a little help from a sledge hammer, it has character now, and doesn't look too bad!
