Default Scrambler Questions

I've been really gettin into ATV's. My friend has a Raptor 660, which i've been riding in the trails for the past week, and i realized i need a ATV. I'm really interested in the Polaris Scrambler 4x4. I need something that i can jump and trail ride, but also have a winch and snowplow on it for winter jobs. Would the scrambler be the answer? If so, would a 400 or 500 be better?..i've heard the 400, but i'm not sure. Any input in appreciated.
Thanks
Joe

Default Re: Scrambler Questions

I've been readin a lot about scramblers, and some say that the Yamaha Wolverine is better? I love the Wolvy's styling, but the scrambler has been said to be more reliable and spin the tires easier to get around corners. I need some help!
Thanks,
Joe

Default Re: Scrambler Questions

I forgot to mention a couple of things in my reply in the Jeep forum. When I owned my Polaris trail boss, 2 of my friends had a sportsman 500 and a Yamaha grizzly. In the exact same riding conditions the grizzly never had a single problem, while both our Polaris' had things like belts slipping and breaking, broken bushings, beant axles, steering jarred loose, etc. I also used to ride a Honda fourtrax 300, and never had any of the problems with that like I had with my Polaris. Like I said before, my friends and I are really hard on our quads, so you might be fine with the scrambler. I just figured I'd let you know my experience with different brands.
