Default Getting the kid involved.

So, I got a pair of used 25x12.50x11 Swampers off of ebay for $30 shipped, and decided since I was taking the two back tires off anyway, that I would just go ahead and paint my wheels. It's turned out to be a bigger project than I planned , since as I was washing the wheels the paint started flaking off, but only some of it. So now I'm scraping all of the paint off and leaving the primer, and I'm going to use some cheap rattle can bedliner material for the wheels. I figure they'll look cool black, and the bedliner stuff should hold up a wee bit better to abuse than regular paint.

Anyway, I was Mr. Mom on Sunday, so my son, Grey, was out there not being much help.

P.S. I did promptly move the thing onto jack stands. A feeling of dread washed over me when I noticed that I had him strapped to a 540lb object that was sitting on a really crappy floor jack.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why my wife freaked out when I told her I could take him with me by just strapping his car seat to the front rack. Women....

dude ..one way to make your wife not complain about this is to.......purchase the new arcticcat 500....my dad just bought a new one for 9000.00...and it has a passenger seat in the back.....much easier and safer to strap that carseat in!
