Yamaha Grizzly CV Help

I am in desperate need of help. I am Co-Captain of the Clarkson University Mini-Baja Team and we design, build, and race an off-road, amphibious vehicle every year. We normally use parts off of ATVs to save us time in suspension and drivetrain fabrication but we have run into a problem. We are using ourtter CVs from the rear of a 2004 Yamaha Grizzly and we need to get the shaft out of the CV so we can make our own custom shafts. We have looked at part drawings, part lists, and have gotten nowhere, I called Yamaha and they refused to let me speak to anyone with any technical knowledge, and unfortunately, my local dealer does't know how to get them apart. If anyone has any ideas on how to get this CV apart, I would really appreciate your input. Thank you in advance for your time.
