Default Banshee or Raptor

I have a Polaris 325 Magnum 4x4. It's a great atv, but now it will go to the girl and I want to get into something that will scare me a little when I give it the juice. I'm leaning towards a Raptor or a Banshee. I am doing mostly trail riding and some open fields riding. What do you guys think? I've read this board before but never posted. I'm curious to see what you guys think. All responses are greatly appreciated Thanks

For trail riding I would definetly pick the Raptor over the Banshee. It has far better suspension for trail riding (better shocks and smoother action)which makes it much more comfortable on longer trail rides, and the 4 stroke torque works much better out on tight trails, and less tiring than the Banshee's screaming 2 stroke hit(and Banshee's don't like to be ridden slow, something else to consider if you're going to be riding side by side with the Polaris). The Banshee is now pretty much considered by most to be strictly a dune quad, because that's about the only place you can find enough room for it to stretch it's legs, the soft sand helps hide it's suspension weakness's, and also since most people run paddle tires in the dunes, it can get a lot more traction in the sand than it could ever hope for trail riding. Hope this helps.

No problem, I just hate it when I read that somebody went out and bought this or that because they heard it was the fastest or whatever, only to find out the quad doesn't do well for the type of riding they wanted to do with it. We spend enough on this sport already, without having to throw more hard earned money away taking a loss on an almost new trade in.
