Your thoughts on big bear 350 4x4

I read hight praise for 'em in either dirt wheels or atv rider,cant remember which.The only complaint they had for the testing was it had no"low" gear for the tranny for the really rough stuff.I was hoping someone on here has one or has ridden one that could comment on that.I was kinda in the market for a 350 or 400.preferbly(sp?)a Yamaha.I thought it to be kinda odd having a utility machine with no low.Does it only come in automatic?

I have riden a 2002 big bear and I it only comes with the 5 speed no auto if you wnt auto then you get the kodiak.the big bears first gear is extra low to make up for not having the dual ranges. I personally went for the Suziki eiger and I love it
