kawasaki bayou 300 - disconnect hose???? help :)

Hi,
I am looking for some help, we have a quad that we use at our horse barn daily and it is a kawasaki bayou 300. We had a hose come disconnected and I don't know where it goes. It is the fuel line from the bottom of the carburator and if it is left hanging gas leaks out of it, but when I held it in my hand and covered the end of the tube it ran fine and didn't leak, so it must connect somewhere. I know I seem incredibly dumb, but we can't find the manual and are desperate. Thanks for your help.
