I own the Honda Rancher. I know it's not the exact one that you are looking at but I have had great luck with mine so far. I happen to be a big Honda fan when it comes to small engines.
Wait till august and get the prarie 700 or if you cant wait defintly go with the praire they are so nice i dont have a 650 but i do have 2 3604x4s and they rock plus i dont really like honda bikes.
I would have to say for speed, jumping, and all out torque and towing capabilities, for you to go with the Prairie. I have driven it and it is extremely fast, fun, and powerful. THen again, the independant suspension of the Rincon would be much better when the going gets rough. I have a Sportsman 500, and when I ride with a Prairie, it get's hung up on logs that I climb over in 2 wheel drive. The decision is up to you.
id say the kawasaki prairie over the honda rincon any day. the rincon has absolutley no power to the ground. its there on the kawasaki and you can feel it also. personaly id take neither, id get a manual shift and not no automatic.
