eiger 400 auto tranny

I haven't run my 4 wheeler since Sept. I got it started but for some reason the transmission won't shift from reverse to neutral or hi to neutral without shutting it down. My recall was supposedly taken care of. What else could it be??? I am very new at this, would appreciate any help. Thanks
