This is why I don't post up my photos! I took so many I can't put them in a thread...So I put them in my photo gallery...You guys need to start posting up Albums in the gallery it's pretty cool!
It was great, the whole trail took from 4pm till almost 8pm and the jeeps took the go-arounds...Took a little longer than usual because of Al's Rock and a hard place and then the center pin ripping out of that jeep...My birf only slowed us down about 5mins cause I had to back off the rocks and hit the go around, then I didn't have enough nuts to get up the mud climb so they yanked me up since I had limited steering and 3wd.
Was lots of fun, I will try to get more pictures up that you guys haven't seen yet.
I was driving and the bozo who was suppose to be taking pictures didn't! I will look and see if I have others of the obstacle...I think I had some last time but the pictures didn't do justice compared to being there.
Last night I just realized I dented my new drive-shaft I just installed a few months back! I think I need that dude in South Dakota to make me one out of some pipe, I heard they won't crush because they are so thick!
So the pic doesn't do any justice...I know it isn't a Toyota but these guys let me join them last year...They came up from Jersey to run the trail. I would say the first one is about 3-4ft at the highest point but is easy to get over, you can see the wet tire tracks right there.
Then there is a double step that the landrover just went up...That is about 4ft I guess but the angle is all screwy...The top of the first step-up is where I smashed my driveshaft I think.
If you can clear that part it's pretty easy but the trucks want to naturally roll to the right going over the obstacle so you need to steer to the left where the guy in all black is standing...Then you end up hitting a third step where his foot is...
It doesn't look too bad from the picture until you go try it...Easy with dual lockers, possible with single lockers, and it's possible with open diffs but you need to be willing to break something and gotta have 1/2hr - 45mins just to manage it!!!
