Default transmission
I have a 96 taco 4cyl.What is the best fluid to use in the manual trans. Also are there any tricks to doing this. Thanks KB

Boydog, if I'm not mistaken the owner manual recommends a 75-90wt gear oil (forgot if it's APS 4 or 5). I personally use Valvoline. Never had any problems. The trans has a drain bolt on the bottom and a fill bolt on the side (driver side). Easy to change. Hope this helps.
