For the most part, the instructions are helpful. The one thing they do not bring up is how to reinstall the strut assembly after you have put the spacer in. We used a series of c clamps and long 2x4's, but the easiest way I picked up on is the jack that comes with the truck. Invert the bottle jack inside the wheel well, and place it to where you are jacking down on the a arm. This will allow you to get the power you need to push it down far enough to slip in the new strut assembly. It is a very tight fit. The moment you complete the lift, you will want to take it to a 4 wheel drive shop to align it, not a regular car shop. They cannot align it with the tools they have. That is something else not said in the directions. It has to be a 4 wheel drive shop. One more thing, when you take out the strut assembly, before anything else, mark where on the top where the nut is. Exactly. When you put is back together, it needs to be the same. I did not do this and had to take it back off because I had a half inch gap between the nut and the washer, causing an annoying clanking noise. Let me know how it comes out man. Good luck |
