RPMs on Interstate

Hey,

Have a 2002 toyota tacoma TRD v6, 5 speed, 4x4 with a 4.10 rear end and locker.

On the interestate the rpm's are rolling at over 3k. How bad it that on the engine, and how high does it really become a problem?

you lack one of the key numbers... your SPEED! I will guess you mean between 65-75 MPH. If so that is about right and what it should be no worries at all. You still have the stock size tires right(265/70/16's)? If so then it is all stock so why are you worried about this?
