Default Tacoma for safety?

As you would have known, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave Tacoma a 5-star rating for its frontal tests and side crashing tests, what do you think? or should we still invest on the toyota tacoma parts to gain more security for our drive?

I have owned a 95 tacoma 4x4 since 98. 4 years ago I was involved in a serious accident with a small Kia car. I still drive my truck after it was fixed. I suffered no injuries but the girl who hit me did. She slammed into the drivers side steer tire. These trucks are great. Would not drive anything else
