i am looking for information on the difference between the ECU's on the gen 2 and gen 3 taco's (98-00) and (01-04) 5VZFE. they have the same components, but the ECU's are wired differently enough that i cant use the TRD fuel management system (part of the 7th injector system) that piggy-backs the 01-04 ECU. i contacted the lead engineer of TRD-USA and the little guy wouldn't say anything more then "it isn't compatible with the older ECU's".
if anyone has or knows someone that has added the 7th injector to a pre 01 taco can you put me in contact with them or get me the specific information on what they did to add the kit, thanks.
