| | Iridium spark plugs Does anyone know how much i need to gap my new spark plugs, they are IK22 Denso Iridium, for 2002 supercharged with 7th injector, 3.4 liter v6. I bought them from URD but the web site at URD to ask questions is not working right now.
Also can I expect any noticable difference in anything from these, i have 55,000 miles on factory plugs.
Thank You

| | Re: Iridium spark plugs I have the same plugs. I think they come pre gapped too .030 You will want to have them gapped to .043 or .041 has been better for some. But that is use with the URD kit and not the 7th. I would go with the .041 and see how that works. Well it should help keep the engine running better. Let me know how that works. I know when i got then i just installed them with the pre gap and it ran like :censored::censored::censored::censored:. and when i went too .043 it ran smooth! |

| | Re: Iridium spark plugs so what is the word? what gap did you install them at and did you have to change it? Yeah almost none of the old school guys are on here but i run into them on ttora, custom tacos, etc. It is sad that this site is not as active as it was when i signed up.. and that was ALONG time ago. |
