Pickup Vs. Tacoma

Are there any major differences between the 1994 "pickup" and the 1995 tacoma? I am looking for a good street/novice offroad truck. I really like the tacoma's locking rear, but does the 94' pickup also have this option? Basically, which truck is best?

well the pickup line ended in the mid year of 95 and the tacoma took its place. If you want a truck with the toyota rear locker then you need a tacoma and it has to be at least a 98 the year they came our with that option. YOu can get a pickup that has a after market locker like arb, ox etc. The 22re in the pikcups are great bullit proof engines and i loved mine. But i would have to go with the tacoma with the 2.7 or 3.4 engine. Make sure if you are looking at the tacomas that you check inside on the dash just for the RR DIFF buttton. IF it has that then you have the locker. RED
