Re: Max tire size on stock Tacoma for snowplow use.. I have a 2002 extra cab 4wd and before I lifted it I had 265 75 R16 cooper st's which are 32 inches tall and about 10 1/2 inches wide on stock rims with only slight rubbing at max right turns on the frame rail. I had them on the truck for about 2 years and it never bothered me nor damaged the tires. I now have a daystar 2 1/2 spacer lift in the front and 1 1/4 inch shakle lift in the rear. I still have 265 75 R16 tires but now they never rub even at full compression. I think you could fit 33's with my lift with the right rims, got my lift for under 200 dollars. Just my 2 cents |
