Default 06 Tacoma Tire Pressure system - disarm OR???

Hi Group:

I have an 06 Tacoma 4X4 TRD w/ the tire pressure sensors that give indication when tire is losing air. I replaced my tires and wheels last week and had not had an indication from system till yesterday when it lit up. Keep in mind that the only sensor left (radio transmitter in valve stem) is on the spare. I could not reinitialize the system.

Since I do offroad and airdown the tires, it will be a pain to deal with this and what I term useless system. Sure grandma may benefit, but I do not need this.

I am going back to my tire dealer tomorrow to try to fit all the 4 transmitter valve stems on my aftermarket wheels (American Racing Mohave Teflon 16X8). If that doesn't get ne back to "normal" without blinking dash light, then next step will be to try to get to dash light and remove.

Any ideas?????????????????

Thanks,

I would try to recal it with just the one sensor. Or just look for the fuse or power wire. maybe even a relay. If you can get a wiring diagram you can see if maybe ground the wire or not keeping it open will do it.
Hope this helps alittle.
