I was wondering if my stock TRD rims that came on my tacoma will fit my friends basic package tundra when i replace mine? I think they are the same since they are both 16". Also, anyone know how much the stock TRD rims go for when selling them?
I think that they should fit from 200-02 & maybe '03, but the calipers may be larger after that because Toyota had problems not realizing they needed better brakes and calipers after that. The best I can remember, I don't feel like it made any difference if it were 2wd or 4wd. If anyone has evidence of this, let us know. Thanks. Bray
Another question. Before i sell these rims i gotta replace them with some aftermarket ones. I'm looking at the MT classic II look. Probably ganna be procomp xtreme or eagle alloys since i think i can get em cheaper. My question is what lug nut spacing do i need and how much backspacing do i need just to get it to stick out a little past the fenders on a 4wd 01.
I got the MT classic lock, Mines are 17" x 9 with a 4.50 back space they stick out an inch BUT my driver side tire rubs on the frame when full turn to the left, but not the right. Well my tires are 285/70/17 they rubbed alot on the plastic parts but with some cutting virtually eliminated. I'm also going to crank the donahoes up a 1/4, rubbing should be gone
