Default Pacesetter Header on eBay

My truck is a 1996 Tacoma 4X4 2.7 automatic 260,000 miles
Has anybody tried this header?
Any word as to quality and performance?
They go for $197.5, Is it a fair price or is there a better one?
Regards to all, Sergio

Hi and welcome! It's a great price which makes it too good to be true. No, I know of none around that have purchased these because I wouldn't touch them with a 20-foot-pole. The most economical headers that you might want to consider are from downeyoff-road.com. I'm sorry but my pc will not allow me to use the URL button so you will have to type it in. These headers might need to have their surface machined smooth before installing to avoid leaks, but I hear you'll be happy with the result. I hope this helps. Bray

I haven't heard anything good longterm about pacesetter. They make cheap stuff, and it doesn't seem to hold up well. They make stuff for my celica, but all the celica guys told me to stay away from Pacesetter, it wouldn't last more than a year. I personally have no experience, but that is what I heard.

Don't Buy it. I've got a 95.5 tacoma with the same header. I have had nothing but problems. I was tired of buying gaskets because the darn thing wouldn't keep sealed, so i had to weld the darn thing up! Seems like pacestter measured wrong and the angles didn't match. So not ony did it leak at the collector, it also leaked at the cat. Pacesetter Sucks!
