Default Backup lights are useless

Hi all! These backup lights on my 03 Taco are about as useful as a candle at night! I have owned several Toyotas & these are the worst yet. I've thought about adding a backup light, but I don't want extra crap back there. Why did they go to such a dim bulb? Anyone know of an upgrade or brighter bulb I can use? I have looked online, but can't find anything.

About half way down the page;

THE BEACON
1156
Ba15s Base
50 watt Xenon Super White

Just don't leave them on for extended periods or they will melt the reflector and the lense.

Nice bulbs on that site, but the backup bulb is the 921 18watt bulb..... a 50 watt bulb would be great though
