Default Lubricating Speedometer

Anyone having trouble with their speedometer squeeking? I have tried wd-40 and a lightweight oil, but after a few days, the squeeking comes back. Any suggestions?

I had that problem with my T100. Had to replace the cable. Cost around $70, but fixed the problem.

you don't want to use a "Wet" lubricant, use a "dry" lubricant like graphite

"Dry" lubricants don't work. I went and got some graphite and put it on everything that involves motion on the back of the speedometer and the end of the cable. It didn't work. I think I'm going to dry some sort of grease next. I don't know where to start though. I need a lightweight grease. Almost like a dielectric grease but I'm not sure how long that will last in a motion application.
