It also takes some time for the computer to adjust to any changes made (2 miles is probably not enough), so it should adjust itself for you this weekend.

Well i got a 40 series flow dumped on my truck. I'll eventaully run headers but that wont be for atleast a couple of months cause i need to finish some other stuff first. I don't understand how you did yours though. Is their a link you followed or myabe explain/ show some pictures of what you did so i can visualize it better. Looking forward to your update on it after this weekend though.

I used this site:

http://www.yotatech.com/~corey/tech/...r/96runner.htm

His measurements were off for mine, though. All I have (had) is the "J" tube, and one big box. They both took a 1-1/4" PVC cap. So I had to buy those, two brass fittings that he names, and I got the new vacuum line free.

Since I had two small caps instead of a large one, I had to put the brass fittings one per cap. It still went super easy. I plugged the vacuum line from the steering to the old J tube position, and ran the new vacuum line to the other cap. The only other opening I had on my intake pipe was a big vacuum line heading around behind the throttle body. Figured I might want to leave it alone, lol!

OK, I got roughly 150 miles on it this weekend, and I still can't feel much of a change. Maybe in the higher RPMs, but if it's there, it's not much. How long does it take for the 'puter to reset?
