Default 99 Dash Lights

Does anyone know where I can get Bulbs for my dash. I want to change the green to white. Pulling the green covers off turns the guages orange. I need bulbs that burn pure white and can't find them. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

It is hard enough finding the stock bulbs (dealer usually does not stock them) as I have had to replace 2 in my pickup and 1 in my 4Runner (I did swap over the green covers to the new bulbs). The dealer wanted $5 for one bulb and they would have to order it because they could not find a part number for it.

I found one (2721) that was almost identical at Autozone (who said I needed a "74" which is too big). The main difference being that it is 2.1 watts instead of the stock 1.4 watts and costs only $2 for 2 bulbs. Maybe that would be enough brighter to not look orange???

Let us know if it works or not.

Possibly... I bought 2 clear replacements but they burn the same as the stock ones without the green covers. I thought about maybe painting or "frosting" them. I will give things a try this weekend, but am still open to more suggestions!

I did this awhile back, like the results, though I wish my needles were actually red instead of various shades of orange. Look on ebay fo these: Polarg B1 Hybrid 194 Xenon bulb. Key here is 194 is the size. Any bulb that is a 194 should fit. Also check out this link at custom tacos for a guy who did the same thing. http://www.customtacos.com/tech/inde...id=110&c=6
I definitely like the look i got a lot more than the green.
