Default Wheel help needed

I have a '03 Taco at stock hight and gearing. I want to put bigger wheels on my truck without having to do a lift on it. Just want to go bigger and wider. Any help

Yeah, should have been a bit more clear with that one. I want to replace my wheels to put beefier tires on it yet not have to put the lift on it. I know that rubbing is going to happen durring tight turns.

you can change the backspacing by getting diff rims, 4.5 should be your current spacing, if you have 16" rims you can go 275/70R16, 15" 31x11, these will rub a little if you hit a bump going down hill while turning otherwise you will be fine, the problem is mostly wider not taller, if you go with about 5+" backspacing and 9" wide tire you should be able to be 32+ on, 255/85R16

Yeah, I have the TRD package which gave me the 16" rims and 265/70 BF Rugged Trails. I'll get new wheels to get the wider stance that I want, so I'm just looking for what wheels to get, and what size tires to put on them.

Alright, I've done a bit more research and now have figured out the proper question to ask. Like I said before, I'm using the 265/70R16. What is the largest tire I can fit in the well without rubbing to bad? Is it possible to use a 285/75R16? I'm still on stock gears, so I don't want to lose my gas milage too much. California gas prices are killing me on that one as it is. Thanks
