wheel question?

Will I come across any problems with space if i go from a 16 x 8 rim to a 17 x 8.5 rim. they will be on a 285/70/17 tire or 285/75/17 (i can't remember)?

I emailed donahue racing who has this set up but they never returned my e-mail.

What backspacing are the wheels (new & old)? The tire size will make a difference, so you need to know which it is (33" vs. 34" for the 2 you listed).

Do you have a lift? If not, then you may have issues with rubbing for either of those two sizes.

the back spacing is 4.5" (which is what the stock wheels are at), the tire in standard size will be 33"
