You better post some pics. Im actually going to a wedding this weekend and while I am down there, I am getting my welder from my father back. Well, hopefully this weekend, if not then soon. I plan on building a nice prerunner style bumper for the front and rear, just need to reinforce the front. I know I will beef up the mounts, or find a better way. That and I plan on pulling off the bed to box the frame rails in. So sad how they arn't boxed in all the way to the end.
Re: Brake Proportioning Valve Bracket/no front bra
hi ALL, reading post this seemed the best place to start, got a major prob with my 95 Tacoma TRD 3.4l 5sp short w/3" & 33 12:50's
Problem : No front brakes, rears are fine other then there locking up ( slight drum warp and booster was acting funny on return and second hittings so now I am on to think it is the LSPV, ( looking for a $$ way out hell add lines and cyclenders and linnings and it will all be new !!! FRONTS BEEN DONE !
HAVE REPLACED EVERYTHING, booster, master 3 thinking they were bad re-man's. hoses and calipers they needed it anyway
I have done hundreds of brakes in the past but never with this problem,OR REPEATED OUT COME ! done everthing I can think of. Wish I had a set pressure gages !!!
I have even blown the lines out ! still no front pressure, pressure bleed got fluid, vac hand pump got fluid, grav drip get fluid, inside with foot nothing? even pluged off and bypassed the LSPV altogether ??? nothing !!!
put air in the rear system same idea as bypassing lspv got some pressure but I could move my pads with my fingers with the brake on the floor ?
Ok os I dont have a fluid problem, blockage problem, it is a pressure problem, IE LSPV OR YET AGAIN ANOTHER BAD MASTER?
I do have fluid ready? but no pressure, before you say it yes the push rod is set!
thought here is that the lspv could be at cause because I did not have a lift as in the past? IE; all 4 off the ground by frame ? also is there some other order of bleeding then , rr,lr, rf,lr, lspv? in that order, skiping the fresh bleed for the new master that was bench bleed?
stuck and feeeeeeellllll sttttuuuuppppiiiidddd !
