Default body lift w/stitches and some ?\'s

this weekend i put on a 3in body that was from the pits of hell. nothing seemed 2 go right. idk but i thought it would be easy but i guess not. after $45 dollars and 4 stitches ( cut myself with a knife when i was removing these plastic wings under the bumper)the body lift was finished...kinda. its up and running but i have some minor problems that i need help 2 fix. OK starting with the gas tank. in the kit they gave me a extention but i dont know where 2 put it. it calls to cut the metal pipe that runs 2 the gas door. and putting the extention in the middle???...is this right? r there other ways i can slove this problem? NOWWWW...on to the rear bumber...it told me 2 remove the bumper...hahaha easy said then done...theres SPOT welds on the 2 bolts that i have 2 remove. and the arnt moving. how can i fix this? i was think that maybe i could grind them down.but i have no idea. it looks real gay with a 3in gap between bed and the bumber...another question....gap guards? where should i get those and how much are we talking? any good brands? thanks for the help! ---joey---

can u post some pics of your taco since you put the 3 inch lift on? i've been wanting to do this for a while but i haven't seen one with it installed. how did you get the lift finished if you never took the rear bumper off? gap guards are fairly inexpensive and i'd just get them at a local off road shop.
