I'm agreeing with Dan here. He (shmevy) responded to some pretty bad replies to his post on the personalized tag name he had thought of. It may have not appealed to anyone, but flaming is not the answer. He only responded the way he was responded to. I'm gonna make sure this does not happen on this site anymore and I'm prety sure the Administrator would like to keep the atmosphere that we are used to having. A change would split this board and I, along with Dan and Red will find somewhere else to go. We love to provide info to some who may be a new Tacoma owner and just wants to know something about their truck, even if it's been asked a thaousand times here without them having to archive for hours. I got out a Sgt. in 02' with one NJP. Seems like everyone had at least one! LOL. When did you get out? Yea, I went to Urban sniper school in Oki. I never went in your barracks. I didn't spend much time there though. I was spending time in southeast asia on the Germantown.

bray, what are you talking about? Everyone has recieved some comment at one time or another that they didn't like. The point is, how you respond to those comments. I know I've had bad comments on my posts, and almost everyone else has as well.

Everyone here on this forum is willing to share the knowledge that they know, even if it's not very much. You, Dan, and red aren't the only ones that are like that. The other thing that you need to realize is that the comments made on this forum need to be honest, and I think everyone is in agreement on that. Don't try and turn shmevy into a person that everyone is suppose to feel sorry for. He messed up and all he needed to do was face the music like a man. No one can deny that.

So, I don't think we need you to go to extremes as well by saying stuff like, I'm outa here. You're going to let shmevy change things on this forum? Things are fine the way the are, shmevy got what he deserved, and now we all get to carry on in our quest for knowledge. It's very simple. We can now all go back to learning, and messing around like we used to and sooner or later the stupid people will be eliminated.

Hey I know Sniper, your kool with me. I just feel like maybe we shouldn't posted a reply to shmevy at all if it seemed dumb. Sometimes that is the better choice. They get the idea without anyone to zero in on. And yes, I want to have fun on this board, I can get good info from my questions and many times I'm sure that I sound pretty silly. That's because I've had a few and I am just cuttin' up a little.Red is about the best member on this board and he has had a run-in with a jerk named wrath. I believe if this jerks posts would have gone completely ignored, it would have killed this leach. He fed on anger from his obnoxious post that he presented. me and dan contacted the right people and asked them to close out his post! I also asked if he ever used rascial comments again that he be canned! But dan and I didn't think he should get the boot for ever just yet. He hadn't caused much trouble before this so maybe he was just having a bad week. Lets all just move on and stop talking about any of this. We will see if he even will ever post on here again. I am sure he might just not ever post on here again on his own reguard. Like everything else, i disagree with you Red. [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] You should have let the post stay, at least for awhile longer. This way everyone sees how ignorant he is. Second i wanted him to respond to my post.

I am however surprised on how many people reacted to the racist remarks. Maybe I'M being ignorant, but i assumed me and maybe a few (2-5) other people were Mex...Latinos on this board, and those were the ones that were going to give Shmevy the backlash. I'm glad to see that everyone here sticks up for each other, regardless of age, sex, income or nationality.
