I have a 2001 Tacoma Double cab with 3" lift. with the stock wheels I am running Cooper Discoverer S/T 255/85R16 tires. (with a full size spare and rotate the 5 tires every 6K)I love them!! I am not a big off-roader but I use my truck as a daily driver, hunting & camping rig, etc. and it never lets me down! The tires have about 40K on them and I still have 1/2"+/- tread left. These are wearing better than my BF Goodrich A/Ts ever did (on my old Pathfinder). Just my two cents but when these wear out I'll buy another set just like them for my Tacoma and for my Lexus 450!
These tires are tall & skinny but give me more clearance than my co-workers F350 on 35" tires...
