a/t shifter sux

I have a 2002 taco prerunner with an a/t. The placement and type of trans shifter is horrible. The shifter is a pistol type with the shift button on top... and sits directly in front of the stereo. Any time I reach for the stereo I bump the friggin button and pop the tranny into neutral. Is there a t handle or aftermarket shifter available? has anyone had luck changing this?
