Airbox upgrade question ??

I'm going to do the airbox upgrade from the TTORA page. Can anybody explain a little clearer about the removal and replacement of the EFI fuse? Is this a key off function, or do I remove the fuse -turn on the key-turn off the key and then reinstall the fuse? Then when I start the vehicle the EFI circuit would calibrate? I'm pretty clear on all the rest of the process. But in the article, it says to remove the fuse while doing the upgrade and then reinstalling. How would this make any difference, unless the circuit was hot?

I looked for the mod on TTORA, but couldn't find it. If you could explain it better, or show me where the post is, I might be able to help you.
