Default Um...off-road.com???

Hi...

It has been a while...about 3 years.

What happend here. I don't remember this site being so...lame.

I remember the site being much deeper than this. There was also a members ride gallery that was organized so you could find specific pictures of exactly what you were looking for...does that still exist?

Now it just seems like a big commercial...did it get bought out?

Thanks, good to be back.

I'll look around.

I just remember the Toyota Forum itself being at least as big as the main message board.

There were manufactureror specific site homepages as well. Toyota, Jeep, GMC, Ford..etc.

The Toyota page is still there but many broken links:
- Off-Road.com's Toyota 4x4Page - Trucks 4x4 @ Off-Road.com

Seems that a few years back some attempt was made to transfer the old static web pages into some new format and that was perhaps half way completed before whoever did that work moved on to something else. Most everything is there, but if you find a dead link, you need to search for the page/link title and go with that.

Well, I guess that is better than nothing.

I am back because I have just recently bought back the 89 4runner that i sold to the farm hand on my parents horse farm!

About a year before I sold it and stoped posting here, I had just completed a 3.4v6 swap into the truck.

The guy I sold it to needed a car at the time, but he is about to have a baby and needs something more...family oriented. I never really wanted to sell it in the first place, but at the time I really didn't have a choice. So, it is great to have it back...with no payments left on it either!

Another good thing is that he barely drove it...just enough to keep ghosts out of the gas tank!
