I would imagine it does, my '91 22RE wouldn't go past 5900.

I mounted one of those 2 3/4 inch tacks right on the top of the steering collum I can still see how slow I am going but not how far I have went... (grin)

I'd like to see if my '94 does also. I was wheeling once and someone said they heard it kick in - but I didn't notice it. I was too busy giving tons of gas!!!

HEY, I would really like to hear from tim at DOA on this one, yeh yeh,, I don't know it it was tach sweep... over sweep. but I have seen my tack peg past 8 grand, scared the crap out of me.. do 85's with the injection have a rev limiter.... I would really like to know.. like what was said before standing on it in the mud and drowning then a tire breaks free... holding on,, ect and standing on the gas... I try not to stand/brace on the gas peddle any more.. but a rev limiter I just might...
