As long as it's in good running condition... A rear locker, or some lower transfer case gears would be my first purchase, in that order (and I say that as I have Marlin Crawler gears, and no rear locker, and wish I had got a locker first, and stuck with smaller tires). Taller tires should only come into play once you've decided you really need them.

Welcome to the board TN!

Might try finding a local off-road club to hook up with. With them, you can find out what the local trails are like and what modifications work well for your area. All depends on what type of wheeling you plan to do, mods for mud are different than for rock crawling or desert prerunning or mild Forest Service roads.

Thanks I appreciate it. Since I have gotten my truck i have done a lot of muddin but i have a lot more interest in like rock crawling and more trail type stuff then just playing in a mud hole.
