Default Is the Toyota site dead????

Wow, I don't remember seeing so few posts and slow activity here!

Are we just too busy with other stuff or have many people bugged out to other sites? Let's bring back the "raging debates" or something!!

Hell, the Lexus Owner's site is more interesting than this one!!!!

I suppose that I could tell you about my day as the activity is slow. A couple of days ago my tacoma spit the bearings out of the idler pulley resulting in a melted timing belt (have you ever seen grease turn into superglue?).
I'm having the regular crankbolt issues, so I decided to put an impact wrench on to break it loose. The vibration rattled a ratchet off the bumper which proceded to hit me on the ear. This also insured that I don't have a/c anymore as well. The only 19mm short socket in sight was a 3/8" drive. The swivel that I had to use lost the pin (I narrowly escaped another blow to the head).
Off to Sears I go to get a heavier duty 1/2" swivel. After about 5 minutes, this one loses a pin. No near miss on this one.
I decided to put the pickup in reverse and try to break the bolt loose with a breaker and cheater. This caused my truck to inch forward onto the fan pulley.
I can't win today.. maybe my luck will be better tomorrow (after at least a six pack).

Yeah, since I got the 4Runner I haven't really had a lot of problems with it, aside from the brake master cylinder going out on I-5.....

4Runner is gonna get parked soon and drive the intrepid. Just paid for the rest of the machine work on the 7mgte the other day

Crank bolts, I have been really lucky cause I don't remember having a problem getting them off. But, living in CA and AZ, my vehicles haven't been exposed to the eastern type nasty weather.

Here in AZ, I hear there is talk about some of the trails being closed. Since I really haven't wheeled seriously since about June of 1999, I only get the skinny on what's going on from my friends that are still active in trail running.
I have yet to really start on my new old 1986 Xtra Cab. I've been a big slug lately.
