| | yeh, I think the site is on life support.
I have been posting up stories, runs, the runs bother me, very little feed back for the awsome trails that I have been posting up.
as far as the runs, wheeling trips. just a guess looking at it. I have posted up 90 percent of everything there.
not many at a boys, or feed back of any kind. I am getting ready to just move on. 120 views and only one long timer posted up anything.
I have Charlene on the Fruity Pebbles run...
do I post it up??? anyone really give a shait??
Don't you guys go wheeling anymore? How come no one else is posting up... or at least commenting.
I am really trying to keep the site alive and as you all know, I even send parts to people to get them back to wheeling...
what the heck??? I think that I give up.
I just can't believe no comments on the wife doing rocker knocker on full size.
The dakota territory challenge put on by the black hills 4 wheelers is the best run or in the top 3 in the whole country.
My wife and I will be running our trail 5 or 6 times before the challenge. Different lines ect. untill it is like driving to church.
from the input that I have been getting it is just a waste to post up the runs.
there must be something in the search,,, or lack of exposer on the main page... something. I have never seen it this dead in the 15 some years that I have belonged here. This was my first site. I know that my join date is 1999.. but I was here before that. some where around 91... when I first got into toyota's. so I don't know guys... post up. even if it is just general talk. reply to messages. even if you don't really have anything to say.
WE need to find out why or where there is a break down on getting people here. I HATE to ask anything on pirate...

| | Lots of bodies just don't know the forums exist - Never mind the button at the top of every single page... maybe when we upgrade our forums later this summer, we'll enlist loyal users like you to help us get everything speced out and tell people it's new. Get 'em to come back.
I agree on the Trails stuff - where to ride and events are some of the most-searched-for kind of stuff on Off-Road.com, so I know people are still interested. Unfortunately, our Trails & Events site got plastered with land use press releases in every portion of the listings when we changed the content format, so that needs major hands-on clean up, but that would be awesome place to post your ride notes - people would probably more expect it there than in a make-specific forum. It's on my list, once I finish site clean up and setting up some new video players for Dirt Sports online.
Or maybe you can start a Blog and a Group just for Toyota pix and run news? That's coming in next couple weeks too.
Just trying to help, find what the audience wants if they aren't here anymore.. |

| | well you are welcome to move all of my trail posts to a better spot.
just let me know so I can watch them and show them to my wife.
long story, don't know if you were in on it or not.
she just loves the feed back, but we have not been getting it here.
don't remove them from the toyota part but links or copies are fine.
I wish that I had started my photo bucket a bit better. but now I can't change it as I would hate to thing of all the red x s.
feel free to move them.
My wife and I are (as I am aware of) the only totally toyota or toyota after market parts, trucks on the trails here.
She is a better driver, spotter then I am..... she is not afraid to lean that truck to rolling over.... course I am the one that would have to fix it.
and it is pretty awsome, I built her truck from stock to where it is now. in a gravel drive way.. we have talked about this many times,,,, she trusts my wrenching all the way. she has said ( I carried a tool kit in my car),,, now I realise what a joke that was.... watching me tear into her truck, weld, fab, change, grind and modify.
I made those bumpers, from scratch. she supports me in my doings, long story if you have not been keeping up.
wife in front.
Charlene and her high school buddy Jason Paule.. spotting her.
yes Jason of twisted customs fame,, world rock crawling champ. And the nicest guy you would ever have the honor of getting to know.

| | I have been a little busy, the twins are now 14 months old... so I have been spending all my time with them.
I haven't had the time or money to do any truck projects (twins are expensive).
The last time I went wheeling was back in January!
I drive the truck to work most days....so it is being used, but man.... i have got to get on the trail soon.
Oh, the wife and I are going to take the kids camping in a few months when the temperature drops a little. |

| | I'm new to the Toyota portion but all of ORC has taken a dive since the early 2000's. Pirate and the other have all the popularity.

| | I check the site almost daily. Wild yoats too. Both are way slow. Get annoyed by arrogant asses over at pirate so I stay over here. I don't get to wheel much and when I do have to keep it mellow. Truck is my d-d, most guys I know don't like to get there pretty trucks scratched up. Often I end up bombing down logging roads solokeeping to roads that (I hope) I would see others and be able to get a lift or what ever.
I love looking at the pics and vid links of the trail runs. They are way more nasty than any I've done. Truck isn't ready for extreme stuff. Just picked up a $300 jetta so that should ease the pressure to never break the runner as well as save on gas. But first I have to get it road worthy/ pass emissions testing. |

if so say something, what do you think? I am pretty happy that my wife enjoys and wheels her self.
she loves feed back. she almost died on me about a year ago,, been going on for 3 years, so she gets what she wants. The rapid build of her toyota is the result of that. It is better then my truck now. Or she is a better driver then me. She walked right up a water fall that I had to use the winch on after about 10 tries,, lines. her wheel base is 10 inches shorter then mine so she hit the (holes) differently. but she drove it like pulling into a parking lot.
I am getting tired of posting up with no feed back. I am proud of her and the fact that she is still alive.
this is home, this is my first site, this is the place that I have chatted with, helped out and been helped out by some of the same people for 10 years or more.
I don't know any of you, in real life, but I know you guys on the net, you have provided me with support that has been way more then any of my real world friends.
you give me advice that is honest, because there is no reason for you to lie.
you know that I have given the best advice that I can because lieing would just be stupid.
I will try your advice and find the truth, you will also do the same.
there is no stretching of the truth here on the net.... one demerit or lie.. and you are tagged and done.
