Oh, so if we don't have any "problems" then we just lurk.

My poor old truck is on it's way to a slow but sure demise as gas prices and the miles on it continue to climb. Just about everything on it is showing the almost 400K kilometers and restoration would be big $$. I really like the truck though and am starting to keep my eye out for 94/95's in good shape or even late 90's Tacoma. This doesn't mean any better mileage unfortunately but I have done all the diesel swap research and it is really just a matter of time and money before I finally commit to the project. Still, I lurk a bit and try to answer a question for the occasional newbie that joins in if I can. I hope the board sticks around though because there is so much knowledge and so many good members out there. I'll keep asking questions too since I am still the main reason why my truck and my buddies '88 4runner are still running.

Sorry for the long delay

No, the winch is hooked near the hood latch and asfor how far I can go on a tank..... its hard to answer that because its rock crawlingso I'm not driving fast enough to really get a mpg. But, a FULL day of wheeling (7hrs) is 25 miles and I have 1/3tank left...... the clear tank makes it easy to see
