| | I got a little tippy! I got the body lift done and went out to do some Mall Crawling! I had to see if I had any rubbing Nadda!
Saturday I hope to get out on the trail for some real testing.

| | Kyron,
Nice work. Was that for clearance, or just for the view? All the salt they put on the roads here will do that to a Toyota in about 20 years....lol.
Carey,
Lookin' good, even at the mall....lol. Did you get new tires? They don't look like the ones I saw on your back last fall.

Both
I even removed the front body mounts because the tires 38's sx were hitting the body mount. the axle is 2" forward even
I'll post up pictures of how the body is attached later (if it lasts)
I almost have a complete 3" 4crawler body lift ready to sell

I can't wait to try them aired down to about 12-15 psi on the trail! This trip to Moab is running me some cash!

| | fabbed up frame brace, front brace, made bumper, made shakles, tapped the steering box, installed the cross over. made and installed front diff protector.
have the front springs installed, cut up radiator support for the new steering box.
still need to mod the power steering pump.
make the rear spring front mounts.
make the ram mounts. going to try to make some kind of weak link, a shear pin deal.
make front drive line.
mount the bumper after I get the steering working.
wow fab work takes along time, clean grinding the steel, the welding, figuring out how to make the parts.
then I get to start on my truck.

| | got steering box mounted up.
made some brackets for the hydro.
chained down the motor mounts.
re-enforced the steering stops and adjusted them so they hit on both sides at the same time.
picked up two more long U bolts and nuts... used the extra nuts to re-enforce the steering stops. they were just the right size.
found the mount on the radiator it self had broken loose so will need to solder that back up.
there is always something new to add to the fawking list...
should be awsome when done.
course next round will be the longs axles, and gears, 5.29's and a front locker when I put in the longs.
she already has marlin crawler's 4.7's in the transfer case. |

| | I'm just itching to get my 5.29's and locker back from Zuk, then I need to scrape up some money for the front axle seal kit...
Umm if your bump stops are adjusted so both touch at the same time wouldn't that mean your driving straight all the time?

| | lol, kind of sounded that way.
only my back steering stops would touch.
with the hydro I am putting in I wanted it pushing against two stops vs just one.
ps, a nut for a 9/16 th bolt slips right into the back side of the steering stops.
