W56 A vs W56 B?

In 1985 Toyota used the W56A to back the 22re. In 1986 they went to the W56B. You can see different photos on marlins product page. Does anybody know the difference between the two? Will I have issues replacing my "A" with a "B"? Will my t-case still bolt to the "B" model? I think the spline count is the same...Thanks
