Default Throw out bearing on FJ60

Should the throw out bearing on an '87 FJ60
be spinning while the clutch is released (disengaged)?

Every now and then when the throw out bearing starts to knock, I put some grease on it to quiet it down, but it seems to me that it shouldn't [shout] be spinning at idle at all.
Yet, I can't see an adjustment to back it off.

There should be something at the slave cylinder push rod, but it's not there. Do you have to remove the slave?
