Default Anyone near Wisconsin looking for a FJ-40?

I don't know the owner, but I drive buy his farm daily. He has a darker colored with a white hard top. He also has a nicer looking red one. It has a setup for a soft top (unknown if he has all the stuff for them), small lift with some form of mud tires, a decent bumper and misc add-ons on it. They are near Sun Prairie (East of Madison on 151). Let me know if anyone wants more details.

I don't live in WI but I do travel to Milwaukee a lot. I would be interested if you could give me more details.
Model year?
Ambulance doors?
F or 2F (original or replaced)?

Thanks,
sb

Sorry for the delay. Man, I forgot to check this board. Anyway, I don't have the exact costs or any swap info. I just saw them both sitting off of Highway C and thought I would post the info.

Here is how you get to the guys place:

Take I-90 North towards Wisconsin Dells
Get off on 151 North towards Sun Prairie
Get into the left lane after the road turns from a three lane into a two lane
As you go to the top of the hill, you will see a left turn for Highway C. Get into the left turn lane and turn left.
Go straight through the stop sign.
About 100-200 yards from the stop sign there will be a farm on the right. Both vehicles are there. NOTE: It does NOT look like anything short of a farmers parking lot. BUT, the vehicles are there!!!

Good luck and let me know if I was wasting my and everyones time on what they are and how much. If I am, I will delete the post!

alright - i finally drove out and was able to see the Black FJ40 and aslo speak with the owner (Tom Kesselhon) earlier this week.

Here is the story - the red one which was a 1974 has been sold. It had a (chevy?) V8 with and Advanced Adapter adapter.

The black (w/ white hardtop) is still avaliable - sorry wasnt able to take pictures.
Tom has had it for 2 years - he bought it from someone in Colorado, it has a little over 100,000 miles on it. Original F motor, 3 speed manual, new clutch, master and slave cylinder, no body life, 31" mud terrains (i think)

It would make a neat project truck. But my current project is my 86 PU 22RE and although i am very tempeted to I wont be buying this (got to spend time with family too!)

If anyone is interested - drop Tom a line at
(608) 837 0454 (work #)
or kesselhont@gateway.net
He is a 'yota lover and a neat person to talk to

He is asking $2000 or best offer.
If there is anything else i can help with let me know
