Default Truck Or Cruiser

well I asked the truck guys so i might as well ask here to. Has anyone went from truck to cruiser. What did you think. I have owned two cruisers already and am thinking about the truck but thought I would pick some brains first.

I must say that i am dissapointed about the traffic on the landcruiser side of this board.

It depends on what you are going to be doing with your vehicles. I have a 1989 Toyota pick up truck, 4x4 V6 & I love to go wheeling but there is only so many places you can go in a truck. My buddies all have J**ps and they can go go a lot more places than I can , especially if you are rock crawlin. So I just bought myself a 1978 FJ 40 & yes I will be able to go all those places the J**ps go but I will be doing it in a real truck! When it comes down to it LCs will be able to out wheel & go many more places than a pick up, believe me I have been on both sides of the fence. Now there are some pick ups out there that are tricked out & can pretty much go anywhere but it does take a lot of custom work to get those results. Any way safe wheelin! Later Dave223

I am starting to get confused. I mean up here we have probably 65% mud on the trail and then the rest is rock. The long wheelbase of a truck is apealing for mud but I have never really struggled with the other cruisers and swampers. I am leaning towards another cruiser but I have to make sure.

Dude I am telling you, the Landcruiser is way more versatile! There is so much you can do to the LCs. Later Dave223
