power steering for a 72 cruiser

I have a 72 land cruiser with the "F" engine installed. I want to put power steering in it but every kit I've seen so far says it works with the "2F" engine or 1973 and above. Can I install power steering in my cruiser and if so what do I need? This is the first cruiser I've owned so I'm a little ignorant when it comes to this area. Any help would sure be appreciated.

With your Cruiser, you should be acquainted with Specter Off-Road. Nothing but Cruisers. They have information and conversion kits for power steering. Good outfit, and always willing to help with tech assistance. Their catalog is actually a good tech manual in itself. Specter Off-Road, Inc.-Landcruiser Parts & Accessories is their site.
