Exclamation Suggestions open 67 FJ40! Help Me Help Me!Please

HELLO TO ALL
I am new to this site and new to the computer world so please bare with me as my two boys and I are trying to build some rigs for offroading and some climbing the oldest is starting witha stock 63 scout allwheel drive, the youngest a 84 Ford Bronco and myself a 67 toyota Landcruiser Fj 40. The FJ was just purchased and has not been run in a while but after a day of draining fluids and replacing new battery and some tire work it fired right off.
I still need to bleed brakes and then start the project.
Please email suggestions or help= lescin@libby.org
This has a straight 6 motor and a 3speed tranny I really need to find out what size motor I have I believe it is stock and if you know how to engage the frontend and can explain it over a email please do so. Anybody have a manual or copy of one I could get? Did these have overdrive in them?
So I was hoping that I might get a few pointers to get me started, first I was hoping that some one could help me with all the features that are on these rigs stock and what all the buttons and knobs are on the dash. After getting it running I drove it about a mile around the creek bottom and I found the HI/LO range but am unsure of how the frontend locks in and I honestly have know Idea what is what on this, I can figure out the choke, throttle, wipers, lights and the HI/LO Range and some on the heater but not both the front and rear. So if some one would be so good as to posible take a picture and label a few things or if some one has amanual that shows these and could email me something I would be for ever greatful.
I am also looking for some good ideas on what to do with this and was also hoping that I might get some pictures of your work that you feel these should have done and also tire and whl types, Lockers front and rear ? really anything that you feel pertains to building one right as I am sure if it is like most things people do things right or wrong, add things or wished they had or seen something on another that was just a really good idea.
For now I will let this go from here and see if I get a sugestion or two and please if you feel there is something that needs to be done l;et me know what and posible how and if I can we will post some start and running photos as we go if posible.
