Re: Death of a newsgroup Hi Joe,
I think this is a fine board. The way of the warrior is to be always ready for change. Adapt, improvise and over come obstacles. Sometimes it does take some time but the board will be back up and in full strength. As for people wishing to remain anonymous, I cant see why that still can not be with all the free stuff out there. So people don't even have to own a computer to get free email and free internet access. You can still be anonymous. As for this new form I think they went to it so that some of the troublemakers would stop and they might have some way of tracking it. I know people who run boards from company computers and they can block out these types of individuals. Sure they can always change to another isp but you have to run out some time. If a school is involved for the isp they can take care of that too. This leaves more of a paper trail for them to follow. Boards that require people to register first make it more of a hassle for troublemakers and keeps better order. Some might not like it but you can't please everyone. I know I will continue to come back to this board and help make other cruiser owners aware of it.
Peace
